Leavin on a jet plane

At 9:05pm on August 15th, Jeremy and I will be flying out of Pearson International Airport in Toronto on the way to London, England.

Getting the tickets turned out to be a bit of an adventure, since the ones we had expected to buy from Air Canada suddenly went from $685 to $1025. I should point out that this happened in a ten-day period, so we were all pretty surprised. Needless to say his family's travel agent decided to look at other options. We had planned on leaving on the 18th of August, but saved over $200 per ticket by booking for the 15th instead.

Part of me is really excited about the adventure that this will be, and another is starting to get seriously freaked out. We're still trying to figure out where our kitty is going to stay for the 3 months before he's allowed to come into the UK, have to get everything packed up or sold and get our Visas too. Lots of little things can add up to a big headache, but since I'm not working right now, I guess I can handle it. The good news is that at the end of it all we'll be living in a pretty amazing city where you can take day trips to Dublin, Paris, Edinburgh and Amsterdam.

and so we are one step closer - with many more to go

We were scared of that happening to us because of gas prices and stuff like that. You are going to be so excited that week I'm sure!
