About Me
- Name: Melinda
- Location: London, Canada
When I was in high school, I imagined that at 29 I'd be married with a couple of kids, working in my career job, and living in a house. I'm engaged, have just climbed onto the bottom rung of the long ladder in my teaching career, have two cats and live in an apartment. Sometimes things take a little longer than we expect...

LOL no kidding! apparently their marketing people think consumers are dumb enough to believe that if the environment is classy - so is the food.
I wonder if they'll still serve their food in paper bags ;)

Not only can I tell you what restaurant this is - Ledawit was right (of course), but this particular Mickey D's is, I believe, located in your future city!
And hey! Don't knock Mickey D's! :-) I worked there for YEARS and can personally guarantee NO ONE ever spit in the food or "modified" the secret sauce on my watch. He he.

on a side note - did you that in Germany you can buy beer at McDonald's? In New Orleans there is (used to be??? beats me after Katrina) a McDonald's that is listed as a five-star restaurant. Not only do they serve steak, lobster, and other fine-dining entrees, but reservations are required and a professional dress code is mandatory.
This information brought to you from the useless trivia stored within Rob's mind.

I knew it! I once got a postcard from my cousin who stopped in NY on her way home to England (from visiting Canada) and it was of an upscale McDonald's! (If I can find it i'll post a picture of it) It had marble tables, vases with fresh flowers, a grand piano.. it was just ridiculous! I'll get a 6pc. chicken nugget, just to say I've been there; done that! hehe

That's crazy. I would not have guessed McDonalds.
Then again they've really been trying to reinvent themselves for a while.
